Memoria y emoción patrimonial: Objetos y voces en un Museo rural

Resumen

En este artículo analizamos las relaciones que se establecen entre una comunidad rural en el interior del Municipio de Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul y su museo. Partimos de la idea de emoción patrimonial y de lugar de memoria para analizar las narrativas de algunos miembros de esa comunidad, que acompañan los objetos musealizados. En un contexto fuertemente marcado por poblaciones descendientes de inmigrantes europeos que poblaron la región hacia fines del siglo XIX, el Museo Grupelli es tratado aquí como un palco de representaciones de memorias y significados, por intermedio de objetos de lo cotidiano y del trabajo, dando forma a un discurso local de búsqueda por el reconocimiento de múltiples memorias y significados. Su acervo, compuesto por objetos domésticos y de trabalho, compone un discurso local de búsqueda por el reconocimiento. Los datos fueron obtenidos a través de la observación de campo y entrevistas realizadas con miembros de esa comunidad durante los años 2010 y 2011, período en el cual un equipo del curso de Museologia de la Universidade Federal de Pelotas estuvo actuando de forma sistemática en la organización del acaervo y expografía del Museo Grupelli.
