Museus, Museologia e curadores no Japão

Abstract

The museum's social significance and universal value probably will also be common in museums around the world. However, since the cultural background and the legal positioning of museums are different, the definition of museums and curators also varies from country to country. In this paper, I would like to briefly introduce the position of museums in Japan, the present state of museology, academic society for museology, and the legal definition of curators as well as the training method in Japan.
