Abstract

This paper presents an approach about the implantations of a strategic planning accomplished on the management of the Brazilian cultural heritage politics. Trough analysis of the Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (Iphan)’s reports (2006 to 2014), this work aims to explain the agency efforts at improving its management. Presents as interdisciplinary study, with a methodology based on research experiences from the areas of history, politics and public politics.
